KAZENERGY Chief met with Senior Vice President of World Petroleum Council

The sides discussed a wide range of cooperation issues and the agenda of World Petroleum Council National Committee'a regular session within the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum scheduled on October 2-3 in Astana, the press service of the Association reported.

Joseph Toth said the Kazakhstan's energy sector has high potential and the country's government makes meaningful deciions on increase of the Kazakh content in the technological and industrial development of the oil-and-gas equipment and technologies.

The sides agreed to activate the work on organizational measures within the preparation of the meeting of the National Committee of the World Petroleum Council. The decision on electing the capital of Kazakhstan as venue for the abovementioned forum is important in terms of promoting the country's image and demonstrates the opportunities of oil and gas industry of the country.
