Kazatomprom first-half profit more than doubled to $199 million

ASTANA. September 1. KAZINFORM Kazatomprom, Kazakhstan's state- owned uranium mining company, more than doubled profit in the first half.
Net income rose to 29.7 billion tenge ($199 million), compared with 11.9 billion tenge a year earlier, the Almaty- based company said on its website today, Kazinform quotes Bloomberg.
