Kazakhstan’s top doubles tennis player Danilina back into world’s top 30
The Women’s Tennis Association has released the latest singles and doubles rankings, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka tops the updated WTA Singles Ranking. Coming in second is Iga Świątek of Poland. U.S player Coco Gauff retains her third position.
Kazakhstan’s top seed Elena Rybakina stands 5th in the WTA Singles Ranking. Another Kazakhstani player Yulia Putintseva climbed three positions up to rank 29th.
As for doubles, Kateřina Siniaková of the Czech Republic takes first spot. Erin Routliffe of New Zealand and Lyudmyla Kichenok of Ukraine are second and third, respectively.
Kazakhstan’s number 1 in doubles Anna Danilina was one position down to occupy 23rd position. Putintseva was one line up and stands 110th.
