Kazakhstan’s Talgat Momyshev lands department head position in EEC
Talgat Momyshev from Kazakhstan was appointed as the head of the department of technical regulation and accreditation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the EEC.

Momyshev previously headed the National Accreditation Center of the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Trade and Integration Ministry of Kazakhstan since April 2023.
Throughout different years, Momyshev worked as the department head, deputy director of the Zhambyl Center of Standardization, Metrology and Certification, director of the Almaty branch of Metrology republican state enterprise, first deputy director of Kazsertiko republican state enterprise, head of the production department of the National Center of Expertise and Certification in Astana, deputy chairman of the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Kazakh Industry and New Technologies Ministry, state inspector at the Presidential Administration Office, deputy governor of Zhambyl region, vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of Kazakhstan, and so on.
The department of technical regulation and accreditation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) addresses a range of issues regarding the EAEU’s activities such as technical regulation and standardization in the field of food, chemical and agricultural products, conformity assessment and uniformity of measurements, accreditation and harmonization of state control, coordination of work in circulation of pharmaceuticals and medical items, and other issues.
