Kazakhstan’s Samodelkina 4th in short program in figure skating at Winter Asian Games
Sofya Samodelkina and Sofiya Farafonova of Kazakhstan completed their performance in the short program during the women's singles figure skating competition at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee.
Kazakhstan’s figure skater Sofya Samodelkina posted the score of 63.31 to rank fourth in the short program at the Asian Winter Games.
Another representative of Kazakhstan Sofiya Farafonova ended up in 8th place with a result of 45.63 points.
With a score of 75.03, Kaori Sakamoto of Japan was ranked first in the short program in the women's figure skating event at the ongoing Winter Asiad.
Earlier, Kazakhstan clinched a Men's 4x7.5km Relay bronze at the now-running Asian Winter Games in Harbin, clocking in at 1:12:54.7.
