Kazakhstan team wins first medal at 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin

Kazakhstan's short track team won silver in the Mixed 2,000m Relay Finals of the 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 in China, Kazinform News Agency cites the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Team Kazakhstan demonstrated exceptional speed and cohesion.
Olga Tikhonova, Yana Khan, Denis Nikisha, and Adil Galiakhmetov finished second in the final race.
“This success not only brings the first medal to Kazakhstan, but also sets a high pace at the Games!,” the Ministry of Sports noted.
Earlier Kazinform News Agency released the full lineup of Kazakhstan’s team to participate in the upcoming 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin in China.
