Kazakhstan’s Rybakina claims 1st title of the season in Brisbane

World №4 Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan lifted her first title of the season by defeating world №2 in the Brisbane International final in Australia, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Rybakina stunned 2nd-seed Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka in straight sets 6:0, 6:3.
The Kazakhstani took head-to-head rivalry with Sabalenka to 5-3 ahead of the 2024 Australian Open.
The victory in Brisbane will take Rybakina to the third spot in the WTA Singles Rankings. On top of that, Rybakina earned $220,000 prize money.
