Kazakhstan’s Qurultay elections: Exit poll results announced
According to the Institute of Eurasian Integration, the results are:
· Adilet: 71.8%
· Auyl: 6.4%
· Respublica: 5.4%
· Nationwide Social Democratic Party (OSDP): 5.2%
· Ak Zhol: 5.1%
· People’s Party of Kazakhstan: 3%
· Baytaq Green Party: 1%
· Against all: 2.1%
The Institute for Comprehensive Social Research Socis-A reported:
· Adilet: 70.7%
· Auyl: 6.4%
· Respublica: 5.5%
· Ak Zhol: 5.4%
· OSDP: 5%
· People’s Party of Kazakhstan: 3.2%
· Baytaq: 1.2%
· Against all: 2.6%
According to the Institute of Public Policy:
· Adilet: 72.3%
· Auyl: 6.2%
· Respublica: 5.2%
· Ak Zhol: 5.1%
· OSDP: 5%
· People’s Party of Kazakhstan: 2.8%
· Baytaq: 0.9%
· Against all: 2.5%
Across the three exit polls, Adilet received the highest level of support, ranging from 70.7% to 72.3%.
Under Kazakhstan’s electoral rules, political parties must receive at least 5% of the vote to enter the Qurultay. Based on the exit poll results, five parties meet or exceed the threshold: Adilet, Auyl, Respublica, Ak Zhol and OSDP.
The People’s Party of Kazakhstan received between 2.8% and 3.2%, while the Baytaq Green Party received between 0.9% and 1.2%. The share of respondents who voted “Against all” ranged from 2.1% to 2.6%.
The exit poll results are preliminary and do not constitute the official election results. The Central Election Commission will announce the official results following the completion of the vote count.
