Kazakhstan’s Putintseva wins WTA 250 Thailand Open match in two tiebreaks

Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan booked her quarterfinal spot at the WTA 250 tournament Thailand Open in Hua Hin, Thailand, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
In the Thailand Open the 7th-seed Putintseva earned her first win over Swiss Viktorija Golubic in three meetings after routing her in straight sets 7-6, 7-6.
The Kazakhstani saved two set points in the first set and won the match in two tiebreaks.
In the quarterfinal Putintseva will clash with Chinese Xinyu Wang seeded 3rd at the tournament.
