Kazakhstani tennis player Yulia Putintseva has significantly improved her position in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) doubles rankings, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

Putintseva climbed 24 spots to reach the 81st position, setting a new personal record.

Last week, paired with Linda Noskova from the Czech Republic, Yulia Putintseva reached the quarterfinals of the women’s doubles event of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, where they were defeated by Chinese Yifan Xu and Zhaoxuan Yang. As for Noskova, she climbed 17 positions, landing the 74th spot.

In the singles rankings, Putintseva is currently ranked 22nd.

As reported earlier, Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan has climbed three spots to No.6 in the latest 2025 WTA Race Singles Ranking with a total score of 1,190.
