Kazakhstan’s Putintseva advances in Hobart to face 5th seed Bouzkova

World number 64 Yulia Putintseva reached the second round of the WTA500 Hobart International in Australia, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
In the opening match Putintseva edged out Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto ranked 45th in the world coming back from one set down 0-6, 7-5, 7-6.
Next the Kazakhstani will face 5th seed Czech Marie Bouzkova who stunned Swiss Viktorija Golubic in the first-round match.
Meanwhile in Adelaide, 2024 Brisbane International title winner Elena Rybakina is gearing up to play in the second round of the Adelaide International against Cristina Bucsa of Spain.
