Kazakhstan’s Popko comes back from a set down in Buenos Aires

Kazakhstani qualifier Dmitry Popko came back from a set down to win the opening match of the ATP Challenger AAT DE TCA 1 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
The 27-year-old Popko faced Brazilian Orlando Luz in the first round of the tournament, losing in the first set 5-7. However, the Kazakhstani managed to come back from a set down and defeat his opponent 6-4, 6-1.
In the second-round match Popko will face German Timo Stodder.
The prize fund of the clay tournament totals $41,000.
