Kazakhstan’s Omarkhanov storms into Australian Open quarterfinal

Kazakhstan’s Amir Omarkhanov strolled into the quarterfinal of the Junior Boys’ Singles at the Australian Open in Melbourne, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Omarkhanov eliminated 14th seed Jangjun Kim of South Korea in a three-set match 6-3, 7-5, 6-0.
In the quarterfinal-match the Kazakhstani will face Mees Rottgering of the Netherlands.
It bears to remind that Amir Omarkhanov stunned top seed Federico Cina in three sets in the opening round of the tournament.
