Kazakhstan’s mixed doubles curling team knocked out of Asian Games

Kazakhstan’s mixed doubles curling team of Azizbek Nadirbayev and Amina Kakimzhanova wrapped up their Asian Games 2025 run after finishing bottom of Group B, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee.

Team Kazakhstan was knocked out of the Asian Games after losing to the Philippines 2-11, finishing bottom of Group B.

The Group’s leader China was qualified for the mixed doubles curling semifinal, whereas the Philippines (2nd) and South Korea (3rd) are to take on teams from Group A to make it through to the semifinal.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan’s Putintseva failed to reach the Abu Dhabi Open 2025 quarterfinals.
