Kazakhstan's Flag raised in NY in honor of Republic Day
On the occasion of celebration of the Republic Day, a ceremony of raising the national flag of Kazakhstan took place in the historical part of New York, Kazinform News Agency citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Those attending the event were the representatives of the Mayor's Office of New York City, Kazakh diaspora, business and student communities, as well as diplomatic corps, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN and the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“The ceremony of raising the Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the main business part of Manhattan on Wall Street has become a good tradition and an important event. In his speech, the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the Republic Day and noted a positive dynamics in the development of the two countries’ relations. “We appreciate your contribution and what you bring to the culture of the city,” the mayor said, wishing well-being to all Kazakhstanis,” the Kazakh MFA says.

Addressing the participants, Consul General of Kazakhstan in New York Rauan Tleulin underscored historical importance of the Republic Day and said that state symbols embody our fundamental values and ideals, personifying national unity and pride in our country.
