Kazakhstan's Bublik wins second Montpellier title in his career

Kazakhstan’s No 1 Alexander Bublik (ranked 27th by the ATP) faced Croatian Borna Coric (ranked 37th) in the ATP 250 Open Sud de France – Montpellier singles final, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

Bublik defeated Coric in three sets scoring 5:7, 6:2, 6:3 winning his first title of 2024.
He will receive 88,125 euros and 250 scores after landing his second Montpellier singles title. Bublik claimed the 2022 crown after stunning German Alexander Zverev in the final.
Earlier, during the tournament, he beat Denis Shapovalov (ranked 137th) - 1:6, 7:6, 6:3, Alexander Shevchenko (ranked 59th) - 4:6, 6:3, 6:4, and Felix Auger-Aliassime (ranked 30th) - 4:6, 6:4, 6:4.
