Kazakhstanis won KZT305 bln in lotteries last year

Kazakh Vice Minister of Tourism and Sport Miras Tulebayev revealed why there is no information regarding winning lotteries in Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Kazakhstanis won 305 billion tenge in lotteries last year at large. The total turnover of lottery operators reached 356 billion tenge, he said.
He stressed the majority of lottery winners, almost 90% of them, prefer to remain completely anonymous and give no interviews amid security fears. They even threaten to go to court if information about winners, personal details, and the amount of the win is released to the public.
