Kazakhstanis positive on presidential elections results - poll

ALMATY. April 20. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ 63.4% of Kazakhstanis are fully satisfied with the results of early presidential elections held April 3, 2011, and 80.1% considers them objective. Kazinform has learnt it from Madina Nurgaliyeva, Head of the Expert Department of the Political Decisions Institute, who presented the results of a social research yesterday in Almaty.
According to her, the personal trust rating of Nursultan Nazarbayev makes today 88.8%. The rating of the Prime Minister and his Cabinet is 65.5% and 61.1% correspondingly.
"Alongside, it should be noted that only 50% of Kazakhstanis are ready to take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections (in January this figure was 64.8%). 57.3% of the population trusts the Parliament to date", M. Nurgaliyeva noted.
The research "Social well-being in the cities of Kazakhstan" was conducted by the experts of the Institute in mid April in 14 regions and Astana, Almaty cities.
