ASTANA. November 27. KAZINFORM - Committee of Tourism Industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan has issued a statement with recommendations for the citizens of Kazakhstan planning to visit Thailand.
Kazinform publishes the text of the message.
"Due to the deteriorating political situation in Thailand the Tourism Industry Committee recommends the Kazakh tourists should avoid visiting the city of Bangkok, except for transfer in Suvanaphum airport. Those already there should take due care, comply with law enforcement officers’ demands and avoid crowded areas", the statement reads.
Thai authorities have imposed a special security regime in the capital and neighboring regions after a huge rally on Sunday turned into large-scale anti-government protests this week. The protestors demand the resignation of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her government.
