Kazakhstani tourists welcomed to Hainan

ALMATY. July 3. KAZINFORM /Serik Koibagarov/ - A presentation of the tourist opportunities of the Hainan Chinese province organized by the China's Government took place today in Almaty. The presentation was visited by the members of a large delegation of the PRC with Hainan governor Lo Baomin in the head, and chiefs of Chinese and Kazakh tourist companies.

The Chinese governor briefed on the economic achievements of the province and told about the tourist and leisure opportunities of the island located in the tropical zone. He also emphasized rapid progress of the Kazakh-Chinese related in the recent years and stated annual growth of Kazakh tourists coming to China. "I could feel the friendliness of the local population", he said sharing his impression of Kazakhstan. "Hainan island is always delighted to receive Kazakhstani tourists", he added..

The two countries' delegates signed a cooperation agreement and nine agreements between the tourist companies of Kazakhstan and China.

Sergey Tereschenko, former PM of Kazakhstan, a well-known businessman, who was among the Kazakh delegates informed that from October this year Kazakhstan citizens will have the privilege of visa-free entry.
