Kazakhstani toppled at Australian Open 2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani Andrey Golubev has crashed out of the 2015 Australian Open after the opening round of the Grand Slam tournament today, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
World №72 Jarkko Nieminen of Finland saw off Golubev in straight sets 6:1, 6:2, 7:6. Although the Kazakhstani hit more aces, it didn't help him shine in the opener. Nieminen booked a second-round clash with German Matthias Bachinger. Andrey Golubev was the last representative of Kazakhstan in the main men's singles draw at the AO 2015. However, Zarina Diyas and Yaroslava Shvedova will continue their Melbourne campaign in second-round action on Wednesday (January 21).
