Kazakhstani tennis players are off to a good start in 2024, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina and Slovakia’s Viktória Hrunčáková advanced to the semifinal of the ASB Classic 2024 in Auckland, New Zealand, after beating Chinese Wang Xiyu and Yuan Yue 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan paired with Sapfo Sakellaridi of Greece reached the quarterfinal of the ITF W50 Nonthaburi Women doubles tournament in Thailand after defeating Rina Saigo of Japan and Beatrice Gumulya of Indonesia 6-4, 6-3.
Kazakhstani Denis Yevseyev lost to Jakub Menšík of the Czech Republic 4-6, 4-6 in Round of 16 of the 2024 Canberra Challenger Men singles.
