Kazakhstani sneaks into Indian Wells main draw

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Yulia Putintseva has reached the main draw of women's singles at the BNP Paribas Open 2015 in Indian Wells, the U.S., Kazinform has learnt from the official website of the tournament.
In the final match of the qualifying round Putintseva needed 1h 23 min to topple Aussie Anastasia Rodionova in two straight sets 6:0, 6:4.
The Kazakhstani athlete will vie against Czech Tereza Smitkova in the first-round match. Last time the two met in Luxembourg in 2013 where the Czech was stronger in two sets 6:3, 6:3.
