Kazakhstani short track speed skater enters top 5 at Asian Winter Games Harbin in China

Malika Yermek of Kazakhstan wrapped up her performance placed 5th in the Women’s Short Track Speed Skating 1,000m event at the ongoing 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 in China, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Kazakhstani short track speed skater finished 5th in the A final of the Women’s Short Track Speed Skating 1,000m event.
Earlier, Kazakhstan’s Alina Azhgaliyeva took 2nd place in 1,000m quarterfinal race propelling to the semifinal bout.
