Kazakhstani sensationally ends Del Potro's comeback dream in Sydney

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani Mikhail Kukushkin has shocked the Apia International Sydney 2015 this morning by outplaying the defending champion Juan Martin del Potro, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Kukushkin who started his Sydney campaign as a qualifier edged out Del Potro in straight sets 7:6 (5), 7:6 (3) taking their head-to-head rivalry to 1-1. Earlier Kukushkin defeated Pablo Cuevas from Uruguay and Denis Istomin from Uzbekistan. In the semifinal the Kazakhstani will play the winner of Julien Benneteau vs. Leonardo Mayer encounter.
