Kazakhstani scholarship holders not injured in Moscow concert shooting

There are no deaths or injuries among Kazakhstani holders of scholarships studying in Russia after the recent terrorist attack in Moscow that killed at least 60 people, Kazinform News Agency cites the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to a report from the ministry, 32 Kazakhstanis pursue their studies in Russia under the Bolashak Scholarship Scheme and ‘500 scientists’ project. 24 of them are currently in Moscow. There are no casualties or injuries among them.

“All scholarship holders have made contact with the Kazakh side and are safe and sound,” Minister Sayasat Nurbek wrote in a Telegram post.

Earlier it was reported that at least 60 people were killed and dozens were injured in a terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
