Kazakhstani MPs pay working visit to Mangystau region

At the meeting with electorate the Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) deputies presented reports on the work done by the chamber.

"In next 2-3 year the existing problems - a three-shift schedule at some schools of the region - will be solved. Aside from the new schools that have been commissioned in Mangystau region earlier this year, several more are under construction. As for the regional schools in critical condition, there are - in Kulandy and Zhetybai villages in Karakiyansky district. Both buildings are unsafe for students, however, they function in order not to interrupt the academic process. The problem is believed to be fixed: financing for the construction of new educational institutions in these villages will be alloted in 2014," Majilisman Ospanov said.
