Kazakhstani Karimi advances again to FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup final

Kazakhstani gymnast Milad Karimi has advanced again to the final of the 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup ongoing in Baku, Azerbaijan, Kazinform News Agency learned from Olympic.kz.

The athlete successfully overcame the qualification in horizontal bar exercises scoring 14.166 points, which enabled him to hold the top line. Ilyas Azizov finished ninth in the same program, scoring 12.100 points, but failing to achieve the final stage.

Earlier, Milad Karimi secured a spot in the final, finishing first in the floor exercise qualification. Azizov and Potanin are set to vie for awards in horizontal bar exercises, Zeinolla Idrissov will compete in the pommel horse event final.

As reported, Milad Karimi claimed gold in the individual all-around event at the 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Cottbus, Germany.
