Kazakhstani karateka wins championship in Belarus

URALSK. KAZINFORM - Darkhan Tiraliyev from western Kazakhstan has won the WKF International Karate-Do Championship in Minsk, Belarus.
The championship brought together athletes from 20 countries. Kazakhstan was represented by two karatekas Darkhan Tiraliyev and Bekarys Yelemesov at the event. Tiraliyev won all five bouts in his -52kg category and was crowned as the winner of the championship. Yelemesov clinched bronze in -42kg category. Both athletes are planning to participate in the upcoming karate tournament that will be held in Temirtau, Kazakhstan and Dubai Karate Open.
