Kazakhstani Dmitry Popko wins ITF Romania F3 Futures title

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's tennis player Dmitry Popko has won the ITF Romania F3 Futures tournament in Bucharest, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz. The prize fund of the tournament totals $10,000.
The 18-year-old Popko outclassed Romanian Victor Crivoi in the final match in two straight sets 6:4, 7:6.
In the semifinal Popko devastated Italian Claudio Fortuna 6:4, 6:0. He also sent home the top seed of the tournament Juan Carlos Saez from Chile after the three-set thriller (3:6, 6:2, 6:2).
Dmitry posted a photo on Instagram of him posing with his first trophy.
