Kazakhstani composes soundtrack for Hollywood action film

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani Alim Zairov and Roman Vishnevsky from Ukraine have composed the score for the upcoming independent action film The American Heist.
Directed by Russian Sarik Andreasyan, the film is about two brothers who decide to ‘conduct a little business' that becomes one of the most dramatic and bloody robberies in American history. The film stars the Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, Hayden Christensen (Star Wars), Jordana Brewster (The Fast and the Furious) and popular hip hop artist Akon. It was screened in the Special Presentations section of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival this summer. The American Heist will officially premiere on January 22, 2015. It is worth noting that composer and pianist Alim Zairov released his debut mini album Renovazzio in February 2014.
