Kazakhstani Almas Smagulov became Muay Thai champion

PAVLODAR. May 5. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ Student of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute Almas Smagulov has won the 'gold' in Muay Thai at the European Championship in Turkey. The press service of the Institute informs.
Master of sports of international class, World Champion Almas Smagulov had overwhelming victories over athletes from Bulgaria, Italy, Germany and Russia.
Another student from the Pedagogical Institute Damir Fatkhutdinov won silver medal in the tournament.
In total, nine fighters from Kazakhstan won eight medals at the Championship.
