Kazakhstan will be the largest transit-transport logistics hub of Central Asia – Head of State

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will become the largest transit-transport logistics hub in Central Asia, said President Nursultan Nazarbayev during the credentials ceremony in Akorda.
"We have started to implement the new economic policy "Nurly Zhol". We have launched the second phase of the industrial-innovative development program," noted President. According to his words, Kazakhstan is aiming at paving the way to connect Asia and Europe. The realization of the goal will allow Kazakhstan to become the largest transit-transport logistics hub of Central Asia. However, the Head of State reminded that Astana is preparing for the international exhibition Expo-2017 themed "Energy of the future."
