Kazakhstan water polo athletes win bronze at Asian Water Polo Championship

The 2025 Asian Water Polo Championship wrapped up in Zhaoqing, China, where Kazakhstan's teams have claimed two medals of the tournament, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Both the men's and women's teams from Kazakhstan secured the third place at the continental championship.
The men's team triumphed over Iran in the bronze medal match. The women’s tournament was played in a round-robin format. The Kazakh female athletes played five matches, winning against Singapore, Hong Kong, and Uzbekistan. However, they lost to Japan and China.
As reported earlier, Kazakhstan’s artistic swimmer Viktor Druzin has grabbed a gold medal in the men’s free solo at the World Cup opener.
