Kazakhstan Uzbekistan ready to settle legal problems of migrant workers

TASHKENT. August 23. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Uzbekistan Boribay Zheksembin considers it is necessary to settle legal issues of labor migrants.
"I think it is time to take coordinated measures in the sphere of labor migration. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are ready to develop and sign an intergovernmental agreement to regulate legal issues of migrant workers and their social protection in the receiving country," the ambassador said.
As earlier reported, Tashkent hosts an international scientific and practical conference themed 20 years of mutual beneficial cooperation of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: past, present and future.
