Kazakhstan Universities may set new criteria for student selection since 2016

"At the moment we are working on updating the content of secondary education and on development of a new evaluation system. This system will include not only the ordinary school finals, but also admission tasks. It will allow the universities to determine the level of their future students", said the Minister answering the questions of journalists. "In 2015, we will begin testing of the new standard. A year later, we will start implementing it. Similar system is widely practiced for creative professions that require certain creative examinations. We are going to discuss the issue during meetings which are to be held in August the current year", concluded Sarinzhipov.
