Kazakhstan, UK, US servicemen hold competitions within Steppe Eagle-2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A training center "Iliysky" as part of "Steppe Eagle - 2015" exercise has held sporting events among military men of Kazakhstan, United States and Great Britain.

Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Ministry of Defense. Military men competed in 4 kinds of sports: arm wrestling, lifting weights, tug of war and relay. As a result of the event the first place went to the team of Kazbrig, the second - the team of the British Army, the US military men gained the third place. In addition, the first place in armwrestling was taken by a contract serviceman of Kazbat peacekeeping battalion Sergeant N.Sayabayev, 2nd place - Corporal A.Bekenov, 3rd place - service member of US Army Eric Thras. In lifting weights (24 kg) 1st place was engaged by Captain A. Spiridonov (Airmobile troops of Kazakhstan), the second place went to a representative of the Armed Forces of the United States, and the third - was gained by a contract servicemen of Kazbat peacekeeping battalion Sergeant K. Pazylbekov.
