‘Kazakhstan’ TV channel and Agency for sport and physical education agreed on cooperation

The document is aimed at promotion of sports and healthy lifestyle. The document was inked by Chairwoman of the board of "Kazakhstan" Nurjan Mukhamedzhanova and Deputy Chairman of the Agency Yelsiyar Kanagatov. One year ago, on July 1, 2013 on the basis of the republican television and radion broadcasting corporation "Kazakhstan" the state sports TV channel "KAZsport" was launched. The volume of broadcasting was 21 hours a day. Specialized channel was established on behalf of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev. "KAZsport" is the only sports channel in Central Asia broadcasting at the level of the European sports channels like "Eurosport", "Sport 1" and "Sport plus". Republican television and radio company "Kazakhstan" comprises the national TV channel "Kazakhstan", the channels "Balapan" and "KAZsport", Kazakh radio, "Shalkar" radio, "Astana" radio, "Classic" radio, as well as regional TV and radio companies.
