Kazakhstan, Turkey to raise mutual trade up to USD 10 bln in nearest time - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. May 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ In the nearest years trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey will be raised up to USD 10 bln. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev announced it at the press conference in Astana today.
"We invite Turkish businessmen to join our industrial-innovative program. Over 1, 500 Turkish companies and joint enterprises are working at present in our country. However, it is not enough", the President said.
According to him, the heads of state reached an agreement on increasing Kazakhstan-Turkey mutual trade up to USD 10 bln.
The parties also discussed issues regarding improvement of transport communication between Kazakhstan and Turkey, development of tourism and cooperation in humanitarian sphere.
