Kazakhstan & Turkey continue using guaranteed motor vehicles freight mechanism

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries for Transport and Communications, customs services, international association of carriers of Kazakhstan and Turkey.

During the round table the sides reported each other on implementation of the intergovernmental agreement and discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

Following the talks the parties agreed to continue applying the mechanism for secure downloading of Kazakhstani vehicles in Turkey.

It should be noted that the exchange of permission forms for freight will be done in two stages.

After implementing the mechanism in the current year there has been an increase of Kazakhstan's share of traffic between the two countries. Thus, for six months in 2013 the share of domestic carriers in the market of bilateral traffic was about 20% compared to the same period in 2011.
