Kazakhstan Tourist Association thanks government for tourists arriving home from Turkey

ALMATY. June 11. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA) had made numerous requests to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the emergency export of Kazakh tourists who were unable to fly out from Antalya in connection with the bankruptcy of «Sky Airlines». On behalf of Kazakh leader there has been made a decision as follows - June 8, 9 and 10 to allocate the Ministry of Emergency aircraft and cover expenses associated with the flights, the press service of the KTA reports.

Thus under coordination and care of the Kazakhstan Consulate in Antalya, on June 8 first Kazakhstan tourists amounting to 127, on June 9 - 65 tourists and on June 10 - 164 people were able to return to their homeland from Antalya by «Pegasus Airlines» air carrier.

The tourist market of the country in the face of the KTA is grateful to Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Government headed by S. Ahmetov, A. Issekeshev, A.Rau, the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, K.Tanysbaev, the Chairman of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, B.Abdrahmanov, the Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Antalya for their sensitivity and attention to those Kazakh people who had found themselves in trouble.

KTA also thanks the tour operators which actively participated in the problem discussion, developing solutions, assistance, as well as travel agents who did not leave their customers and all of the people who remained indifferent to this difficult situation for the Kazakhstan tourism industry.
