Kazakhstan took part in Turkic Council's meeting on tourism

Istanbul. December 25. KAZINFORM - A delegation of Kazakhstan industry and new technologies ministry's tourism committee took part in a meeting of Turkic Council's task group on tourism issues held in Istanbul's office of the Turkic Council's Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by tourism experts from the Council's member states - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. The meeting talked over issues related to the creation of a single tourist package "Silk road", improvement of qualification of civil servants working for state-run tourism agencies, the holding of tourist festival "International Nomadic Games" in 2014, popularization of Turkic cultural heritage, etc. The parties noted the need for closer interaction of Turkic states' tour operators and travel agents.
The Kazakh delegation shared on our country's tourism potential, its preparation for hosting EXPO-2017 in Astana, simplification of visa procedures and the hospitality industry's development.
