ASTANA. March 7. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan is deeply concerned over the conflict in the Middle East and is to become the key negotiator between Iran, the US and Israel," director of the Institute for Parliamentarism Bolat Baikadamov told Astana-Washington video link-up.
"We deliberately take this initiative (to hold a video link-up) to realize the peace-making mission of Kazakhstan. The conflict between Israel and its partners from one part and Iran on the other part impends. This conflict around the nuclear armament may bring unpredictable effects, first of all, military, ecological and humanitarian consequences. Kazakhstan is interested in peaceful settlement of the conflict," he added.
"Today's video link-up is of great significance for it may stimulate discussion of the problem in wider circles," Baikadamov stressed.
