Kazakhstan to supply pasta, cheese and dairy products to China

ASTANA. KAZINFORM A presentation of the best six manufacturers of Kazakhstan was held within the EXPO-China-Eurasia 2014 international exhibition held last week in Urumqi. The national stand was organized by Kaznex Invest National Agency for Export and Investments of Kazakhstan, its press service said.
Kazakh PM Karim Massimov attended the event. Kazakhstan's pasta, soft drinks, extra-virgin oil, dairy and cheese products, mineral fertilizers stirred great interest among the participants and visitors. "Such events help increase export of Kazakhstan-made goods. Last year the sales between the two nations reached USD 22,5 bln that is 4% more as compared to 2012," Kaznex Invest managing director Askar Arynov said. "Kazakhstan's export grew by 0,7% to approach USD 14,3," he added. Following the results of the exhibition the parties signed contracts worth more than USD 500,000 to deliver pasta, cheese and dairy products to China.
