Kazakhstan to stay committed to its domestic and foreign policies
Speaking at the forum, N. Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstanis demonstrated their unity once again at the election.
"All the people of the country were coming to electoral stations yesterday to express their will. I saw people come to elections with children and grandchildren, in whole families. People were standing in lines for a long time to cast a vote. It touches heart, it puts more responsibility on the shoulders. It motivates to think day and night what to do next for increasing living standards of the people of the country and the prosperity of the nation," the President said.
N. Nazarbayev emphasized that the population of country demonstrated its high political culture during these elections. People voted not just for their president but for their future.
The President also thanked everyone for active participation and organization of the election. He also noted that it was the time for serious work now.
"We have to finish the industrialization of Kazakhstan, build alternative economy, create new jobs, etc. We have to implement "Nurly Zhol" program, build new roads in Kazakhstan and become the regional hub. This is a new stage, it means hard work, but we can do it. I wish all of us success in achievement of our tasks," the President noted.
N. Nazarbayev also drew attention to the fact that Kazakhstan would stay committed to its priorities in domestic and foreign policies.
"We will stay united loyal to our partners. We will continue to strengthen accord in Kazakhstan and work for peace in the region and on the entire planet. We are respected in the world and we stand for the stop of bloodshed in the world. We call on everybody to consider the experience of Kazakhstan that shows that multi-ethnic country can live in peace," he added.
In conclusion, the President also thanked everybody for having confidence in him and wished all the people wellbeing and peace.
