Kazakhstan to spent 6.7 bln tenge on maternal and infant mortality reduction

ASTANA. July 22. KAZINFORM Today Kazakh Healthcare Minister Salidat Kairbekova held a telephone conference of the Republican Headquarters on adoption of high priority measures on reduction in maternal, infant mortality and mortality from circulatory illnesses, the Ministry's press service informs.

Those attending focused on problems and ways for further reduction in maternal and perinatal mortality, circulatory illnesses mortality and morbidity issues.

As stated there, 6.7 bln tenge will be channeled for the said preventive work through the state-run healthcare development program for 2011.
