Kazakhstan to set up National Commission for HR Policy

ASTANA. November 12. KAZINFORM "The National Commission for Human Resources Policy and regional personnel commissions will be established in Kazakhstan," Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs Alikhan Baimenov announced during the presentation of the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the public service" in the Senate.
"It is assumed when the draft law is adopted, the National Commission for Human Resources Policy and regional personnel commissions will be set up to make decisions on the category A candidate pool and appointments to management positions," A.Baimenov added.
According to him, the A category pool is the state administrative positions of the management level, for which a special procedure for the selection of the talent pool and competitive selection process established by the President of Kazakhstan, as well as special training requirements are provided.
A.Baimenov noted that these positions exist in more than 30 countries around the world.
