Kazakhstan to set up junior companies market

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan will set up junior companies market that will speed up new field discovery.
"Kazakhstan started drafting the subsurface and subsurface use code concept to improve the investment climate both at the green field exploration phase and subsequent stages of subsoil use. The junior companies discover more than 40% of the fields globally," head of the geology and subsoil use committee Bazarbay Nurabayev said.
According to the new concept, it will let attract direct investments into this sector, introduce the latest global standards into geologic exploration.
