Kazakhstan to send 5 fencers, 8 judokas to Paris Olympic Games

Kazakhstan is going to send five fencers and eight judokas to the upcoming XXXIII Olympic Games.
Fencing:
Ruslan Kurbanov, born September 17, 1991 in Oskemen, East Kazakhstan region. He is a bronze medalist of the 2023 World Fencing Championships.

Vadim Sharlaimov, born December 9, 1996 in Oskemen, East Kazakhstan region.

Yerlik Sertay, born September 19, 1998 in Zhambyl region.

Elmir Alimzhanov, born October 5, 1986 in Almaty.

Aigerim Sarybay, born February 18, 1997 in Almaty region.

Judo:
Yeldos Smetov, born September 9, 1992, in Taraz. He is a two-time prizewinner of the 2016, 2021 Summer Olympic Games.

Abylay Zhubanazar, born February 15, 2000, in Kazaly district of Kyzylorda region.

Nurlykhan Sharkhan, born April 18, 2000, in Kyzylorda.

Daniyar Shamshayev, born August 8, 2001, in Almaty.

Gusman Kyrgyzbayev, born September 28, 1992, in Tole Bi district of Turkistan region.

Esmigul Kuyulova, born May 11, 2002, in Tashskent, Uzbekistan.

Abiba Abuzhakynova, born July 4, 1997, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She is a two-time bronze medalist of the 2022, 2024 World Championships.

Kamila Berlikash, born November 9, 1999, in Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region.

Team Kazakhstan has earned 80 Olympic Games quotas in 25 sports, including boxing, judo, artistic gymnastics, track-and-field, kayaking and canoeing, rifle shooting, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, archery, trap-shooting, tennis, road cycling, swimming, modern pentathlon, taekwondo, cycling track, trampoline gymnastics, badminton, rowing, rhythmic gymnastics, triathlon, table tennis, climbing and breaking.
The XXXIII Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. The event will bring together 10,500 athletes from 205 countries, who will compete for 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
