This has been said by Kazakh Energy Vice Minister Alibek Zhamauov, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Kazakhstan plans to reduce oil production in March in a bid to comply with the country’s OPEC+ output obligations, Zhamauov said while answering questions of journalistsю
The Kazakh Energy Vice Minister went on to add that the bulk of Kazakhstani oil exports goes via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, leading to reduction in oil shipments.
According to Zhamauov, Kazakhstan’s oil shipments via CPC will be reduced by around 70% in March.
Earlier it was reported that on February 17, 2025, the oil transportation facility of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) – the “Kropotkinskaya” Pumping Station – had been attacked by drones.
